Guanyin Statue
- A large antique Chinese polychrome wood carving of Guanyin - the bodhisattva of compassion. She is depicted with a serene expression on her face and her hair piled in an elaborate style, and wrapped in cascading scarves. Appears to be standing on a lotus base.
Condition: with wear and faults - with loss to paint and faults to fingers. With signs of previous woodworm - Treated November 2022.
