A pair of exceptional Chinese antique giant blue and white jugs, depicting 5 dragons with claws, and sealed with the Qianlong reign mark.
pair of antique, Chinese, outstanding, blue and white planters, depicting 5 clawed dragons, barring Qianlong reign mark.
The dragons are portrayed in between clouds and water. Below the planters neck there is a lotus petals, the rim is adorn with flower scrolls and the Qianlong reign mark. On the rim- flower scrolls are depicted.
Planter 2 has an old repair to the rim.
Both are beautifully executed, high end bond porcelain and painting, creating a most astounding pair.
A pair this size is rare. Both are placed on original well made hard wood stand , could be zitan wood.
