MIXED MEDIA PAINTING ON SHELL BY JULIUS VON KLEVER
Mixed media painting by Julius von Klever, or Yuly Klever, 1850 to 1924, a Russian-German landscape artist whose paintings were collected by the royal Romanov family and Pavel Tretyakov during his lifetime. Oil paint on seashell. The artwork depicts two bullfinches on a branch. Titled Feathered Game. Signed by the artist and dated 1915 in the lower right. Brown and white mat, golden frame. Collectible Fine Art And Decor.
