CHINESE COVERED CLOISONNE CHISEL ENAMEL GINGER JAR
An antique Chinese covered enamel over brass ginger jar. The exterior of the ware is covered with polychrome enamel images of blossoming flowers, and sakura tree branches surrounded by a cloud motif made in the Cloisonne chisel technique. The neck is decorated with a scrollwork pattern made in the same technique. The base features floral and foliage ornaments made in the same technique. Unmarked. Circa: early 20th century.
