Takashi Murakami, Japanese, born 1962, mixed media painting on board depicting a Surreal scene with mushrooms with eyes, 1999. Signed and dated, lower left. Framed. Takashi Murakami is a Japanese contemporary artist. He works in fine arts such as painting and sculpture as well as commercial media such as fashion, merchandise, and animation, and is known for blurring the line between high and low arts.
