A vintage American gouache painting on paper by Augie Napoli, titled Civil War, 1986. The painting depicts one of the battles during the American Civil War lasting from April 12, 1861, to April 9, 1865. The top left is depicted Ulysses S. Grant. In the lower right corner is an image of Robert Edward Lee. Signed, and dated, 1986 lower right. Augie Napoli, 1935 to 1994, was an American artist known for genre scenes, landscapes, and cityscapes.
