Oil on canvas painting by Martin Wong, 1946 to 1999, a Chinese-American artist based in New York. Wong is known for exploring the topic of ethnic and racial identity and cross-cultural phenomena. This lot is a self-portrait of the painter in cowboy hat with a Jesus Christ patch. Signed by the artist and dated Dec. 9, 1983 in the bottom middle. Wooden frame. Collectible Fine Art, Portraiture.
