LTD JAPANESE WOODCUT PRINT BY HAKU MAKI SIGNED
Haku Maki, Japanese, 1924 to 2000, a limited edition woodblock print on paper, Work 74 6. Signed in pencil, lower right. Titled in pencil, lower to the center. Numbered in pencil, 110 of 153, lower left. Framed. Haku Maki was a Japanese artist of the second half of the 20th century. He first made his name and his living by producing prints featuring Chinese characters kanji. Maki produced about 2000 different images. This makes him one of the most prolific Japanese print makers of his day. Mid century Asian and Oriental Graphic Art Prints and Collectibles.
Dimensions
Frame 12 1/2 x 10 in. Inside matte 8 1/4 x 6 1/4 in. All measurements are approximate.
Condition
Overall good vintage condition. Signs of wear and age. Slight stains. Has chips and cracks in frame. Refer to photos. Sold as is.
