William Merritt Chase, American, 1849 to 1916, oil painting on board depicting a scene with a child. Signed upper left. Framed. William Merritt Chase was an American painter, known as an exponent of Impressionism and as a teacher. He is also responsible for establishing the Chase School, which later became the Parsons School of Design. American Fine Art, Female Portrait Oil Paintings, Wall Art, and Collectibles. One of a kind artwork.
