AMERICAN COLLECTION SOUVENIR SPOONS BY WM ROGERS
A collection of American souvenir spoons by WM Rogers, adorned with engraved presidential portraits and engraved bowls. The spoons are presumably silver plated. Each spoon has a portrait with a name on the handle, for example, James Madison, James Monroe, John Quinchy Adams. The bowls of the spoons are engraved with historical scenes or places. The back of the spoon handles bears the inscription Wm Rogers Mfg. The spoons are presented in boxes. The Wm Rogers silverware company was founded in 1865 by William Rogers, a skilled silversmith.
