Maurits Cornelis Escher, Dutch, 1898 to 1972, color lithograph on paper, Rind. Circa: 1950s. Signed in pencil, lower right. Numbered in pencil, 96 of 120, lower left. Framed. Escher was a Dutch graphic artist who made mathematically inspired woodcuts, lithographs, and mezzotints. His work features mathematical objects and operations including impossible objects, explorations of infinity, reflection, symmetry, perspective, truncated and others.
