RUSSIAN SOVIET GZHEL PORCELAIN VARIOUS TABLEWARE
A group of eight Russian Soviet porcelain hand painted pieces made in Gzhel and produced in the recognizable blue on white design. Consists of a soup tureen with a lid, a candlestick for three candles, a large bowl raised on a leg for fruits or sweets, a sugar bowl, a salad bowl modeled in the shape of a bird, a box with a lid, a napkin holder in the shape of a swan, and a vase. All items have manufacturers marks on the bottom, some of them additionally inscribed with names of artists. Circa the 1970s. and the 1990s. Vintage Russian Soviet Ceramic And Porcelain Collectibles.
