EDWIN DICKINSON AMERICAN MALE NUDE OIL PAINTING
Oil on canvas painting by Edwin Walter Dickinson, 1891 to 1978, an American artist, student of William M. Chase and Charles Hawthorne. His style of painting, which eschewed details in favor of close attention to the relationships between masses of color, was strongly influenced by his teachers. This lot depicts a nude young man in interior setting. Signed by the artist in the lower right. Titled Young Boy by the Window. Undated. Wooden frame. Collectible Modernist Fine Art.
