AFTER ESCHER DUTCH IMPOSSIBLE OBJECT OFFSET PRINT

Escher, 1898 to 1972, a Dutch graphic artist whose work explores mathematical objects and operations including impossible objects. The piece depicts a large building roofed by a never-ending staircase. Two lines of identically dressed men appear on the staircase, one line ascending while the other descends. The artwork was influenced by, and is an artistic implementation of, the Penrose stairs, an impossible object conceptualized by Lionel Penrose. Unframed. Collectible Graphic Art Prints And Wall Decor.
