Engraving on paper by Samuel Sartain, 1830 to 1906, an American printmaker based in Philadelphia. The artwork depicts a portrait of George Sylvester Taylor, 1822 to 1910, the first mayor of Chicopee, Massachusetts. Oval format. Signed in plate and autographed by the portrayed in ink underneath.
