RUSSIAN IMPERIAL NAVAL OFFICERS DAGGER WITH SCABBARD
A Russian Imperial naval officers dagger, awarded for bravery. The flattened diamond-shaped blade is etched with a floral motif and the cipher of Alexander II, while the reverse side bears the inscription Ironclad Enchantress in Russian. The S-shaped crossguard is inscribed For Bravery in Russian. The blade is maker-marked for P.A. Fokin, St. Petersburg and WK Solingen, on the ricasso.
