Andrey Danilovich Antonyuk, Ukrainian, Soviet era, 1943 to 2013, an oil painting on canvas depicting a scene in a waterfall landscape. Probably signed, on the backside. Framed. Antonyuks work is influenced by naive folk art, expressionist symbolism and modernist aesthetics. Folk motifs, artistic understanding of the historical past of the Ukrainian people, and their moral quests predominate in his work.
