Mixed media on paper painting. Attributed to Leonora Carrington, 1917 to 2011, a British-Mexican painter and novelist. Carringtons work reflects a hallucinatory world in which myth, nightmare and the occult merge with the history of art to create an individual visual symbolic language. This lot depicts fantastic dragon-like characters in imaginary seascape scenery. Signed in the lower left and on the backside. Undated. Unframed. Collectible Modernist Fine Art, Women Artists.
