1959 FRENCH GEORGE BRAQUE EXHIBITION POSTER PRINT
A lithographic poster print for Braques 1959 exhibition at the Galerie Maeght, depicting flying doves in a painterly style. Signed in the print, lower left. Titled, On 4 Walls. The poster was included in Affiches originales: des maitres de lecole de Paris, Original Posters: The Masters of the School of Paris: an exhibition of posters printed by Mourlot and a book compilation published by Andre Sauret in 1959. Provenance: a well preserved time capsule from the prestigious Decoration and Design Building D and D Building in New York City, a renowned trade hub for interior designers.
