A color offset poster for a 1978 Maurice Esteve watercolors exhibition at the Grand Palais, Paris. The print features an abstract painting by the artist dated 1970. Provenance: a well-preserved time capsule from the prestigious Decoration and Design Building in New York City, a renowned trade hub for interior designers. Maurice Esteve, 1904 to 2001, was a French painter associated with the School of Paris. His style can be described as Cubist Fauvism and Lyrical Abstraction.
