One hundred Dollar note from the Lubavitcher Rebbe Spring 1990.
Letter of authenticity from Rabbi Shaul Shimon Deutsch
The Rebbe Rashab and Reb Levi Yitzchok Schneerson were both very involved behind the scenes to help free and vindicate Menahem Mendel Beilis in the case known as the Beilis Affair.
In 1913 in the city of Kiev Menahem Mendel Beilis was a Russian Jew accused of a "Religious Ritual Murder". Although Beilis was acquitted after a lengthy process by an all-Slavic jury, the legal process sparked international criticism and antisemitism in the Russian Empire.
Chabad's involvement in the Mendel Beillis case was a subject near and dear to the Rebbe's heart. The Rebbe's interest in finding any and all material on the subject is what led Rabbi Deutsch to research the story.
Rabbi Deutsch extensively researched the Beilis case and published his findings in the Kfar Chabad magazine Issue 547 November 12, 1992.
Rabbi Deutsch research pleased the Rebbe very much.
In 1990 The Rebbe asked his secretary, Rabbi Binyomin Klein, to give this 1974 One Hundred Dollar note to Rabbi Deutsch -
"Gebt es tzu Deutsch er hut leib alta Zachen"
Including the Kfar Chabad Magazine issue 547 November 12, 1992.
