She was an Israeli painter, set and costume designer and illustrator.
She began studying at the National Gallery Art School in Melbourne, where she met the painter Yossel Bergner, who also studied there. In 1950 she married Bergner, immigrated to Israel with him and they lived and painted in Safed. From 1957 the two settled in Tel Aviv.
