( Country Artists celebrated its 20th anniversary in 1998, beginning life in 1978 at Tanworth-in-Arden in Warwickshire, England. Initially called “Richard Cooper and Company”, and later “Richard Cooper Giftware Ltd” and in 1987 became “Country Artists”.The company began producing wall plaques featuring garden birds. These proved very popular and soon the company were producing three dimensional models of not only birds but animals as well. Due to their success the company moved to larger studios in Stratford-upon-Avon, and continue to
produce detailed animal sculptures.)
