Letter from Rabbi Menachem Hacohen Fischer, the Av Beis Din of Sárvár, 1934
A letter of recommendation for the bochur Yosef Chaim Ginsburger of Sárvár.
Rabbi Menachem Hacohen Fischer (d. 1945) was the son of Rabbi Tuvya Hacohen Fischer, Av Beis Din of Sárvár, a student of the Daat Sofer, and the son-in-law of his own uncle, Rabbi Yoel Halevy Falner of Uhely. In his second marriage, Rabbi Menachem was the son-in-law of Rabbi Avraham Aharon Katz of Nitra. Rabbi Menachem served as a rabbi in Szombathely and Sárvár where his father had served. Was murdered by the Nazis in 1945.
