A BRONZE WINE FLASK, BIANHU

The body with a flattened oval shape supported by a rectangular section base and surmounted by a cylindrical neck with bulging mouth.

Provenance : Fabrizio Savi collection, acquired from Anthony J. Allen, Auckland, New Zealand, between 1995 and 2000.

This particular shape was already in vogue during the Warring States Period, widespread even in the Han dynasty.
