This chromolithographic print is by Elizabeth Corbet Yeats from her book Brushwork Studies of Flowers, Fruit, and Animals for Teachers and Advanced Students. Published by George Philip & Son, London 1898.
The print is accompanied by the descriptive text. Elizabeth Corbett Yeats (1868-1940) was daughter of the Irish artist John Butler Yeats, who worked as an art teacher in London before later establishing the Cuala Press with her brother W.B. Yeats.
