Operation Chastie 16th/17th May 1943 Signed F Sutherland 617 Sqn on Raid. 19 Sep 08 Scampton 65th Anniversary Operation Chastie 16th/17th May 1943 Wg Cdr Guy Penrose Gibson VC, DSO , DFC 12th August 1918 - 19th September 1944. Personally Signed by Flying Officer Freddie Sutherland he was front gunner on Pilot Officer Les Knight's aircraft Lancaster AJ-N that went first to the Mohne Dam before successfully attacking and breaching the Eder Dam. On Dams Raid 17th May 1943. Details enclosed. Certified Copy No4 of 25. Good condition. All autographs come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
