Grouping of Three Hardcover Fishing Books

The Badminton Library of Sports and Pastimes: Fishing Salmon and Trout edited by His Grace The (Eighth) Duke of Beaufort, K. G assisted by Alfred E. T. Watson. This copy of Fishing by H. Cholmondeley-Pennell (Late Her Majesty's Inspector of Sea Fisheries) was published by Longmans, Green, and Co. in 1906. It is beautifully covered in a brown hardcover with hand-painted titling and etched designs on the front and spine. The book measures H 7.5 W 5.75 D 2 inches. 

Condition: It shows minimal wear to the bottom edge of the spine, and all pages appear to be present with no evidence of rips or tears. The original purchase tag is inside the book as well. There is a handwritten dedication from the previous owner dated 1912 on one of the inside blank pages near the front. 


The Lonsdale Library Volume II Trout Fishing from All Angles by Eric Taverner. Published in London in 1929.  Original bookmark on the front cover and there is a handwritten sentiment from the previous owner on the inside blank page dated 1950. Measures H 8.75 W 6 D 2 inches. 

Condition: It has the illustrated dust cover still with the publication that shows signs of age and use. The hardcover book beneath is in excellent condition with little signs of wear or use. All pages appear to be present and intact.


Fishing: A Trout Stream by Eugene V. Connett published by The DerryDall Press in 1989. This is one of 2500 in a Limited Edition and is beautifully bound in a blue hardcover. The cover and spine have gold and blue etching designs. It is accompanied by a matching protective box cover. Comes with the original purchase tag and previous owner's ex libris inside the front cover. Measures H 10 W 6.75 D 1 inch inside the protective box. 

Condition: This piece is in excellent condition with few signs of handling or use.
