SHIMON BAR-KOKHBA, 132 – 135 CE
Silver Tetradrachm or Sela, year two. 14.8 gr. Obverse: Temple façade of Jerusalem with three lines at top of columns. Paleo-Hebrew inscription: "Jerusalem". Reverse: Lulav and ethrog. Paleo-Hebrew inscription: "Second year of freedom of Israel”. Meshorer TJC 230b; Hendin 1387; Mildenberg 14. + Very Fine.
