Bronze, 17.8 mm. Obverse: Incused bust of Herod Philip to l, ΦIΛIΠΠOY TETPAPXOY, LE (year 5 = 1 CE). Reverse: Temple, (CEBAC)TOY KAICAP. +Very Fine and Very Rare. Meshorer TJC 96 var; Hendin 1220 ver. Shoshana 20123. Probably the best reverse known. Ex Menashe Landman collection, Haifa (non-exportable).
