Passover Haggadah with Woodcuts. Amsterdam, 1765
Haggadah shel Pesach with laws and customs. This Haggadah features a Yiddish translation by Rabbi Shlomo Zalman London, author of Kehillas Shlomo, and the commentary
Tzli Eish (an abridged version of Zevach Pesach by the Abarbanel) by Rabbi Yehuda Aryeh of Modena.
The Haggadah portrays 13 woodcut illustrations of scenes from the Haggadah. Each illustration spans approximately one third of a page and is enhanced with 16 decorated initials.
Amsterdam, 1765. [1], 32 leaves. 22 cm. Minor stains, likely wine stains. Good condition. New leather binding.
