The Dowager Queen of Edward the 4th Parting with the Duke of York to the Two Archbishops by Order of Richard the III - Stipple engraving, printed in brown ink - Untrimmed measuring 45cm x 39cm

From The E. Resnik collection we present this stipple and etching, printed in brown ink. 
Depicting The Dowager Queen, seated on a throne, holding the hand of the young prince, as he is led away by an archbishop; a lady and gentlemen of the court attending; after G.B. Cipriani.
 

Engraver: Francesco Bartolozzi (Italian, Florence 1728–1815 Lisbon)

Artist: After Giovanni Battista Cipriani (Italian, Florence 1727–1785 Hammersmith (active in London))

Publisher: Anthony Molteno (British, died 1845)

This is an aged piece that would look much better when framed with a border behind glass.  Borders are damaged and a small moisture mark on the top right corner..  Please see images as they form part of the description.
