A Fine Silver and Crystal Centerpiece, Central Europe, 19th Century
An oval domed base, raised on four sculptural supports and surmounted by a scaffold like frame, ornamented with medallions and wreaths and flanked by two sculptural handles shaped as a sphinx. In the frame, an oval cut crystal insert. Fully marked (on the underside).
