A FINE ICON SHOWING THE MOTHER OF GOD ‘OF THE UNBURNT BUSH’ Central Russian, after 1832 Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. Finely executed on a gold ground. Six selected saints on the borders: the prophet Elijah, St. Mitrophan of Voronezh, Sergey of Radonezh, Sts. Florus and Laurus and Dmitry of Uglich. Losses to the borders. 31 x 26.5 cm.
