A FRENCH GENDARMERIE FLINTLOCK PISTOL, EARLY 19TH CEN.
A French flintlock pistol of the type often used by the Gendarmerie, produced in Maubeuge. The pistol is stamped with a variety of marks to the lockplates, trigger guard, and barrel.
