AN 1855 EXPOSITION UNIVERSELLE GENERAL STAFF/GENERAL'S DOUBLE BARREL PERCUSSION PISTOL
A very finely made double barreled percussion pistol produced by the Imperial Manufactory at Saint Etienne for a General or a member of a General's staff. The pistol has various stamped marks, including one of the Exposition Universelle of 1855. The intricately patterned metalwork is visible along the barrels and the reinforcement between.
