Description: A Dutch silver tobacco box having a hinged lid decorated with a repousse mythologcal scene, with engraved initials on the underside. Hallmarks include "IL" or "LL" above the Amsterdam city mark.
Dimensions: 1.25" x 6.25" x 2.25". Weighs 6.96 ozt.
Provenance: From a Philadelphia collection.
Condition: Good condition, the interior with significant tarnishing as a result of the box's use as storage for coins.
