LUMIERE LOUIS: (1864-1948) French Pioneer Filmmaker, along with his brother Auguste. Rare D.S., `L. Lumiere´, one page, Lyon, Monplaisir, 22nd July 1892, on his ''Antoine Lumiere & ses Fils'' (''Antoine Lumiere & Sons'') printed stationery, to Monsieur Maurice Lhuillier, in French. An extremely attractive document, with colour printed heading, ''Grand Prix Paris 1889 - Fabrique de Plaques Seches au Gélatino Bromure d´Argent'', also with the printed list of medals obtained since 1872. The partially printed document is a cleanly written invoice, listing what the shipment contains, with a 25% discount. Also bearing two red ink stamps of the Lumiere & Sons company, signed at the base by Louis Lumiere in his capacity as Director-Administrator. Small binder holes to the left border not affecting the text or signature. Very small overall minor age wear, with very small tear to the upper left corner and very slightly clipped lower right corner, otherwise G to VG
