She used the pseudonym ''Clémence'' and was also known as ''The Red Virgin of Montmartre'', or ''La Louve Rouge'' (''The Red she-Wolf''). Rare and good A.L.S., `L Michel´, one page, 8vo, Noisy-le-Grand, 28th January 1895, to Madame Adam, in French. Michel would like to meet her correspondent, stating `J´aurais bien desiré vous voir pendant que je suis à Paris. Si cela vous est possible veuillez m´indiquer le jour où je pourrai aller chez vous´ (Translation: `I would have liked to see you while I am in Paris. If it is possible for you, please let me know the day I can go to visit you at your home´) Further and to a post-scriptum Louise Michel adds `Je serai lundi prochain 10 bis rue Geoffroy Marie, chez M. Constant Martin´ (Translation: `I will be next Monday at 10 bis rue Geoffroy Marie, at M. Constant Martin´s home´) Paper with watermark. With blank integral leaf.
