Collection of Booklets by Yiddish Writers in the USSR, 1983
A collection of 11 fascimile copies of Yiddish literature and poetry books, given in a fine cardboard folder, published by the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, 1983. All copies are numbered "162". Including books by writers David Bergelson, Shmuel Halkin, David Hofstein, Peretz Markish, Der Nister (Pinchus Kahanovich), Itzik Fefer, Leib Kvitko and more. Five of the eleven editions contain illustrations, two by Marc Chagall and the rest by Issachar Ber Ryback, Lasar Segall, Henryk Berlewi and Yosef Tshikaw. Overall very good condition.
