Postcard Depicting Jewish Shechita
A rare postcard portraying a Kosher Shechita in Paris, c. 1910. With French inscriptions: "Mise-a-morte d'un Taureau. Rite Israelite" [The Shechita of a bull, a Jewish ritual] in the cattle market in Paris (Abattoirs de la Villette). Overall good condition, was in use (handwritten text on rear).
