Ancient Etrog Case – Silver – Germany or Poland – Circa 1860
An ancient Etrog case (originally maybe a box for sugar or Jewelry) , Germany or Poland, circa 1860. Marked silver – 750.
Gilded interior. Stands on four stems. Lid with a folding handle. Impressive engravings. An engraving of the family emblem on the lid (which indicates that the case had belonged to a noble family).
Condition: Very Good. Minor dents.
Length: 17 cm. Height: 15 cm.
Weight: approximately 200g.
