Manuscript of the Book "Yessod Teshuvah" - the 17th Century
Copying of the composition "Yessod Teshuva" by Rabbi Yitzchak Alias.
The copying was done according to the third edition that was printed in Salonika in 1588. This edition was printed as a booklet of 12 leaves. At the end of the booklet, "Tzava'at Yehuda Ha'Chassid" (The last will and testament of Rabbi Yehudah Ha'Chassid), as printed in all the editions of the booklet. On the back of the booklet, an ancient inscription: "This book was bequeathed to me by my father … the speech of Matitya N. Zecharya Salta". The 17th century. North African script.
21 leaves written on both their sides. Orderly script, two columns per page.
Condition: Good. Time stains and signs of dampness and mold. Minor moth signs. New binding.
