Imrei Binah, explanations on the topics of Kriyat Shema, Tzitzit and Tefillin, based on Kabbalah and Chassidic teachings, by R. Dov Ber Shneuri, the Mitteler Rebbe of Lubavitch. Kopust: R. Yisrael Yoffe, prominent disciple of the Baal HaTanya, [1821]. First edition.
Imrei Binah is considered the most profound of the books composed and published by the Mitteler Rebbe. The main part of the book is dedicated to clarifying the kabbalistic concepts of Yichuda Ilaa and Yichuda Tataa, based on the teachings of the author's father – the Baal HaTanya.
Ownership inscription on title page (partially faded and deleted): "Belongs to R. Yaakov H---".
[2], 21; 56, [1], 55-140 leaves. 20 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains. Dampstains. Open tear to top of title page, affecting text on both sides of leaf, repaired with paper (with photocopy replacements). Worming, affecting text. Leaves trimmed close to headings on some leaves. Stamp to final leaf. New leather binding.
