Large collection of printed booklets and books, most in Marathi. [India, 19th/20th centuries].
Prayers and piyyutim, booklets and textbooks, philosophy and research books and other publications. Some have Hebrew incorporated into the text and Marathi translations. Some are illustrated.
Among them: Songs for Simchat Tora [Hebrew and Marathi]; Selichot for before sunrise for the month of Elul. Pune, [1874]. [Hebrew and Marathi]; Travels of Rabbi Petachya [Marathi]; The First Gateway to the Holy Tongue. Bombay, [1881]. [Hebrew and Marathi]; Passover Haggadah, with Marathi translation. [Bombay, 1891]; etc.
· Enclosed: Songs of praise, piyyutim and hymns for the entire year. Bombay, 1874. Only Hebrew. Lithographic printing of the handwritten text.
More than 50 booklets and books, in about 30 volumes. Size and condition vary. Some have inscriptions and stamps.
