Ownership signatures from various periods: “Feivel son of Rabbi Chaim”; “belongs to me, Yechezkel son of Rabbi Marfel [initials]”; “I have received it as a gift from my dear father Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch Herman”; additional undeciphered signature, apparently by writer of glosses.
Dozens of brief and lengthy handwritten glosses from 19th century. Some contain explanations and Chidushim, and some summaries of laws.
[2], 352, [3] leaves. 34.5 cm. Fair condition, wear and stains, damage on title page and several leaves. Ancient wood and leather binding, damaged.
