Disciple and companion of Rabbi Yishmael HaCohen of Modena author of "Zera Emet". Wrote the introduction his teacher's book]. Dozens of lengthy glosses in Italian handwriting [by Rabbi Ya’akov Chaim ebn Yichye?]. The author repeatedly alludes to the books "Shnei Luchot HaBrit" and "Ta’ava LaEinayim" by Rabbi Shlomo Algazi.
