David Ben-Gurion – two letters to Anda Amir-Pinkerfeld
Two letters by David Ben-Gurion to the poet and children’s writer Anda Amir-Pinkerfeld. January 1952: “…Among the few treasures that I will keep regardless of what happens to me – are your short letter and attached poem.” November 1953: “… Man must hear the voice of God talking to him and to his heart – if his heart is not coarse and his ears are not sealed. More than this he cannot do.”
Both are typed on official stationery and signed by hand, one has the original official envelope attached.
16.5x20.5 cm, 21.5x27 cm respectively.
Good to very good condition. Folding lines. One of the letters is torn along the folding lines.
