Association of Jewish Culture in Hamburg – Membership Cards, 1936-1937
Jüdischer Kulturbungd, two different membership cards. Hamburg, 1935-1936; 1937-1938. The other card bears membership fees stamps.
Membership cards of a Jewish cultural organization, established in 1933 by Kurt Baumann, following forbidding Jewish cultural activities in Nazi Germany. The organization, centered in Berlin, encompassed 50,000 members in one hundred cities in Germany and created a rich and varied cultural activity.
10 to 10.5 cm. Good condition.
