Ketubah – Palermo – Italy, 1906
Ketubah for the wedding of Avraham Yosef Gino son of Chaim z”l from Pesaro with Miriam daughter of Chaim Tsaba. Palermo, Sicily, Italy [1906].
Witnesses’ signatures on the bottom in Hebrew and Italian: Emmanuel Rimino and Yosef Avraham Chai Rossi.
Written in square letters and handwriting on thick and high quality parchment-like paper. Six paper cut adornments with embossed prints of birds, musical instruments and flowers are glued to the edges [of the Ketubah].
49.5 cm. Good condition. Few stains and wrinkles.
